I got one of these cables for my galaxy s2 but only the sound's working when I go to the relevant channel - i'm not even sure if these cables work with this phone but it's an ebay job and the ad said it was for mine.

First question would be, do these cables work with my phone? Second would be, are there any settings I need to change to have the display come up?

Any help much appreciated

Google says Galaxy S2 can only be done with a Micro USB > HDMI cable mate.

The bastards, thanks for that Brett mate, I was needing a headphone jack to rca for the hi fi anyway so that's a bit of a saving grace. I'm going to slaughter this arse in the feedback

The cable you need is less than £13 delivered from china mate. You'll get it, it'll just take a couple of weeks.

Yeah still doing the same, not had much time for COD recently

if its a 3.5mm jack to a red/white rca then its only audio

I'm a bit of an electronics noob mate but even I know that

it's the yellow, red and white connections it's got. I'm just saying that even though it's not working with the telly i'll still be able to have sound playing through the hi fi
