Hello all. Recently fitted a VXperformance inlet to my 1.4 16v and now its all built back up its gained a misfire. Basically it will misfire when you go any further than half throttle and sometimes make a pop through the airfilter but no EML light was showing. I have tried the paperclip test and it brought up the fuel tank vent valve and air temperature sensor so I replaced those and not had any luck any ideas guys? Cheers Scott

ive got a vx inlet, i had the same problem. i no its a long shot but mine was my wiring loom was touching my throttle body and the heat of it melted and molded two cables together, so the ecu was all messed up.

whip the plugs out it and have a look at them, could just be a coincidence its started after fitting the powerox. as said also just check for air leaks, did you use a new gasket when fitting the powerbox?

Yeh the vacuum hoses all seem to be correct as others have done them. Going to do the plugs soon and changing the leads along with them as i have magnecor ones to put on so will give that a try
