I can type just as quick if not quicker on a touch screen. There is no need for a phone with a keypad these days

There is, for people who need to write proper emails all day. A keypad for most people is far quicker than a touchscreen.

for older users who arent as dextrous, the keyboarded BBs are much better than an iPhone for churning out email aftyer email

Wildfires are so wank, not surprised. Something seriously wrong with the resolution on those things.

I wish people would stop comparing the wildfire to anything at all.
It's crap in general, the screen is terrible.

this!
I send loads of emails each day and cannot do the same on a iPhone or the likes.. takes me loads longer on a touchscreen.
Stick to a blackberry! the 9900 is a good shout!

Blackberries are excellent.
If you want a messaging/telephone device they are fantastic. Better internet/media/apps phonjes out there but these serve their purpose.
I have the 9800 Torch and enjoy the benefits of touch screen for quick menu access etc, but 9/10 use keyboard for typing
also ,Nokia E75 is a good phone (DOnt use it for email though)

The missus has a torch, and i'm not a fan of it tbh. My man fingers are too manly to use the keyboard on it.
Given up and trying to get the Sensation XE on Vodafone, there's a brilliant deal on phones4u for it....
IF I can get a contract, I screwed up years ago on O2 and seem to have been shafted ever since, hoping Vodafone will be different

I can't use a BlackBerry keypad for toffee with my Dick fingers. I did knockout a 3000 word report on my desire though for work on the train, personally wouldn't be able to do that on a BlackBerry any quicker!

I have a Desire HD atm, wouldn't mind an iPhone just to try it. But something in me wants to go back to a BB as its a very useable phone, no battery issues, nice looking, bbm

Is that an E71 underneath the £2000 case?
Porsche Design have a Blackberry out that looks similar.

That's the £5k one I think, you can spend £15k on one if you want it to be made of gold.
It's got a keyboard though

Newer ones do yes, even 3G now.
You can still buy a blackberry without 3g, wtf.
Only the 8520 curve though? They've rolled these out to most people in work now, ok for what they do I suppose, I have one with my work sim in it but I don't have data on it, my pearl 9105 does the job just fine there and probably going to get the new bold soon.
