Guys,
I am after a new router/modem. My wireless G is just not cutting it anymore!
A few features I have seen that I like:
300MB/s
QoS (Quality of Service) - Netgear only at a low price point. I assume this means I can give my Xbox priority so if someone is streaming iPlayer it won't give me a shit ton of lag?
Separate network for guests
What would you recommend? I have had Netgear's in the past and have always been pleased with them but I am open to different brands. I use ADSL (O2 LLU) and budget is £60 but will potentially spend a bit more if it is awesome and has Gigabit etc
Would also consider second hand if it showed good value.
Cheers

Netgear are usually a good bet.
My Virgin Superhub is a Netgear, not had any probs with it in the 2 months I've had it.

Cisco Linksys are pretty decent.
I would steer clear of netgears n150, they hated gaming for me, would cut out after 10 minutes if I tried to game online, was fine with the internet.

This was the one I was looking at. Safe bet?

I doubt QoS will make much if any of a difference if someone is using quite a lot of bandwidth by streaming iPlayer
