I have a long crossover lead for when I had my old PS2 online, I now need a long lead from my router to my PC for internet access and wondered if the crossover lead will work, or will I have to change it to a straight lead?

In case you're wondering, my PC crash mentioned on geek day somewhere was caused by a faulty wireless adapter so im having to improvise til I get a new one, i.e. ethernet.

Shouldn't be a problem either way on almost any router

I work for a WiFi company. Really winds me up when people say wireless is crap.

Wireless is crap if it's badly deployed.

It's not as good as a cable but for most situations it's fine.
