im trying to get my steering boss kit off and im having trouble. I know you should use a hub puller tool but my local car shops dont sell them.
Does anyone know how to get one off without using this tool??:boggle::boggle::boggle:

is it an airbag wheel first off??
if not then do the following
undo the nut but do not fully remove the nut, leave it on the last few threads, this stops you ending up with the steering wheel implanted in your face.
grab the steering wheel at at the 9 & 3 positions and just pull like fuk.
if it still wont budge, then get a mate to hit the top of the steering column with a wooden block & hammer, or a rubber mallet as you pull it - and it will come off
DO NOT hit the coloumn with a metal hammer alone this will damage the splines and then you'll be fuked BIG TIME
simple enough though
