I had a bit of a play with the lumia in carphone warehouse yesterday and the only thing letting it down is the software. If it was Android then it would be great. It looks fantastic, but the Windows OS didn't impress me at all.

I think the windows OS needed to be more like windows 8 but I guess they aren't ready with that yet.
WP7 looks too dark, plain and generally boring.
Nexus size doesn't bother me too much apart from maybe getting geek grief when getting it out in a pub. That said, I couldn't unlock it with one hand.

ordered... turns out when i rang i have 7 months on contract remaining. girl said if i pay 20 i can upgrade now. but then offered half price line rental for 3 months on a 40 a month contract saving me sixty.. so its cost me +£40 lol although im now paying 15 more a month

i like fast non laggy interweb on my phone with multiple pages. i also like sending pics/taking on phone ect so i need a half decent camera. i have a wildwire at the min... i bet the lumia is amazing compared

aslong as i can have whatsapp, ebay, take nice pics, take hd vids and not have a slow phone i will be very happy

Im reading that though that you have tied in again and that actually is £15 more a month for another 18/24 on top of the 7 and not just 7 months

new 18+6... 20 was to pay off the remainder of this month because you can upgrade 6 months from contract end.. after 18 months i will do the same again
