The radio has never worked in my car, i tracked the arieal cable from the back of the radio round to the top of the shelf on the passenger side and found this ....
obviously it should be connected to something but what any ideas

Under the passenger side sill trim will be the the part that it plugs into. You will need a torx screwdriver to remove the sill trim.

Yeah there's a join behind the kick panel, remove the screws from the sill trim and there's a fixing on the bulkhead up by where your toes would be.
