quote: Sorry - Looks like the postcode you entered is not in a Virgin Media fibre optic broadband area. No worries. If you're a Virgin Media customer getting broadband down your phone line, the good news is you're already getting the fasted speed we can give you.
nice and professional vm

Virgin have announced they are doubling speed free of charge, 10mb = 20mb, 20/30mb = 60mb 50mb=100mb 100mb=120mb
bt..
BT Infinity claims to deliver up to 40Mb speeds to customers.
"It is no surprise to see that Virgin are following our lead by doubling speeds. We announced we would do this for our fibre products last autumn and so they are trying to catch up with us."

From what we've been told by management, we are scrapping 10, 20 and 30mb. Also planning wireless hotspots like BT do.
Gotta email from them saying something about the 100Mb service and then another email saying that was all wrong and they'll have good news for us in 2 weeks

From what i've been told you should be on atleast 50mb at some point this year as that is the lowest we will do in this area. How true this is, I don't know, but we were told about 4 months ago this was the plan.

Is there a website where I can look to see what kind of broadband product is available in a particular area? Postcode search is no good because I want to try to move to an area with fiber when I move house later this year
