Got the mrs one of these a few month back, got no music on it, some pics and a few apps. Says internal memory is full, cant cooy apps to mem card, or contacts?

How do we free up space or move stuff to memory card??

App2SD cards app. Some apps you can't move over but should be able to move a majority of them.

Only one that will move is angry birds, rest wont. Seems a bit shit?

Go into the app manager and clear data for some apps, will help.

Shouldn't need to root it. Its works fine on my phone. Some apps it can't move though like i said.

Cleared all data, deleted texts, removed some pics, still not great. Will try that app when i get home tomorrow. Cheers.

I don't understand how - I have LOADS on my Desire S and it's nowhere near full?

5000+ texts, 150+ contacts, 3 email accounts and a fair few apps

Yep. Cleared app cache, no apps to move to sd card, reduced text message limit to 100 per convo.

19.37mb free space on phone. Out of 150mb, thats tiny!

Got a total of 5mb free now but its got nowt on it.

Is there not a way to store pics, contacts, texts etc on the sd card?

Yeah my pictures store on the SD card by default!
