just got it, doesn't look what i'd call safe to fit a tv

the fittings are also really small so will go down b and q and get some longer stuff.

Mine hangs on same mounts as John's I recessed mine into the wall so the TV sits even flusher to the wall and none of the disc / wire can be seen.

They work great much better than old mounting kits.

How far did you recess it in? there's under 10mm.

Can't see any of it on that TV anyway, you can't get your eye that close to the wall.
