Hi, just got a w-reg 1.2 16v sxi. The car has no engine, but ive a x16xe i intend to rebuild and fit.
Just wondering if any1 can identify what the following plugs are?
Starter and altenator ive labled,
Speedo drive appears to be top (with orange water seal)
And the big plug with the clamp (and orange water seal is the ecu)

Also when i run the x16 loom into the car down in the drivers footwell, will the feeds for it be there, or am i going to have to remove the dash and trace where they come from?
Only other question i have at the moment is the whether the sxi fuel pump will be up to the job, anybody know?
Cheers, Gary

Fuel pump will be fine, you can either change the dash loom to a sport one or butcher the one that's already there

get a new dash loom from an 1.2/1.4 8v or 1.4/1.6 16v and change it oer, should be plug and play after that

hmm, then the epas wont work, as the fuse box with it is smaller to account for the motor sticking out the coloumn. Really want to keep this..

lol, this isnt answering my original question, or any help on the wiring. Ill probably just grab a haynes manual and spend time figuring it out myself, as nobody seems to know (which i find hard to believe, as this engine has probably been removed for conversions for over 10 years now)

This is a post of a 1.2 to 2.0,
I guess you will need to find 1.6 to 2.0 which wont be hard and just get the colours and match

Thanks matt, just had a read of that. Seems the wiring is just as easy as any other corsa conversion only a bit more time consuming

One At the bottom is reverse light sensor, grey plugs are ingnition plugs if they come from separate places.
