hello
im planning on hammeriting my arches on my car , does anyone know if using a heatgun to dry the paint would be a promblem ?

i've done it, but if you get the paint too hot it starts to bubble, a gentle waft is all you need, like your dispersing a fart with your hand.

as above ive done it when painting some steel wheels helps a bit but really nothing beats a warm baking day or an oven really, in times like this can take a good fortnight for paint to properly harden
on my note why paint hammerite on arches? :/

sorry just relised , i meant inner arches just for rust protection then underseal over it

One can will do your inner arches, goes on nice, and dries pretty quick, and it won't chip like paint.
