Recently bought a new (new to me off a friend) netbook, tried to download itunes off the apple website and it said says that the page is not available to download itunes. is it my netbook or apple site?

Don't see how it could be the netbook.
Just do a google for iTunes download, surely there's other places to get it from?

Can you not just plug your apple device into the laptop and it go looking for iTunes automatically on the net?
