Why late edition? Well because I'm just getting around to posting this. Duh!
I was under the weather, recovered...kinda...and then went on a real vacation for once. Went to Nor Cal took a bunch of cheesy pics of tourist stuff and even managed to squeeze in something car related by visiting the Blackhawk Collection. But, anyways enough of my excuses and life story on to what happened at Cars & Coffee on this particular weekend:
This particular weekend started off good with a 1957 Ferrari 250 GT TdF and a Lamborghini LM002 showing up almost at the same time. For those of you not in the know, the TdF stands for Tour de France which is the race this particular Ferrari was built to compete in. This particular TdF is owned by famed car collector and dealer Tom Shaugnessy. The car still competes in many road rallies and is shown at car shows all over Southern California. The Lamborghini LM002 is a rare monster which was a development that spawned from Lamborghini trying to get into the military vehicle market back in the late 70's/early 80's.
The most jaw dropping vehicle to make it out on this particular vehicle was the extremely loud and extremely AWESOME Nascar spec 2010 Ford "Fusion". This real Nascar spec vehicle has been made street legal with the addition of headlights, taillights, and doors. It seems so simple it really is a suprise that more of these aren't around. The other very special car to show up is a Kellison Special, which frankly I don't know much about and would really like to know more about. I know, I know, I could have easily asked the owner, but what fun is that?
Anyways, enjoy this week's pics:

Actually really like the orange 4 door BMW with the Jeff Koons-esque graphics over the top!
