Afternoon,
Looking for a loan for 14k to refinance debt but struggling at the moment, tried through bank and was turned down.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

What about moving as much as you can to one of the 12+m 0% credit cards you can get from the likes of Barclaycard? Think if you have a poor history there are others that stiff you with 30% at the end of the 0% period so would keep an eye on it, although you would be very unlikely to get anywhere near a 14k limit on 1 card, but if you moved your highest interest payments to it it could save a fair wad each month.
Have you signed up for your free credit report on Noddle to give you an idea of your worthiness? I find it pretty good and its easy to sign up for and read and completely free (unlike Experian etc)

Barclaycard are doing 22 month 0% balance transfers. Get one of those. Transfer as much as you can onto it.
