Would having 2 slimline fans (10") instead of 1 large slimline fan (12") keep the engine cooler and cool it any quicker?

Got standard on mine. Works perfect. It's not got a massive turbo strapped to it so doesn't get hot when driving and the normal fan cools it down quick enough in traffic

Just not sure if a aftermarket fan will be as reliable as a genuine one.

Im using an astra aircon fan from the other side and its spot on.

was looking at that on my mates last night fitting the air con one on the front as well. Tbh an xe isn't bad to keep cool though with just the std corsa fan.

i used a 12" aftermarket fan on mines and the temp lowered quicker than when it had the standard fan

had to slightly extend the loom a little to reach but i now have plenty of room between rad and manifold.

made some custom mounts for it. cant fault it
