on tick over it will miss every so often, if the revs are increased to about 2000 while stationary its a little biut more noticable, but when i put my foot down especially 65mph + it pops, farts, misses and judders the crap out of the car.

its 100% not wiring related as i have fitted a new loom and did this before the loom was fitted.

any ideas

Is it coilpack or dizzy mate? If coilpack it could be just that. And if dizzy could be the cap/rotor arm

Sorry its coilpack. Crank was changed 3 week ago so not that. Any way to test a coil. Also noticed its 10+ miles before the car even starts to warm up?

Test a coil or coil pack?

I'd imagine testing a coilpack you'd be best off trying a replacement.

Got a video of what happens when it misfires?

The video on idle wouldn't show much just a very slight miss its mainly under load but especially in 5th gear at 65/70 n trying to accelerate it almost bogs down

The plugs and leads are bosch and about 2yr old so maybe. 100% not the installation as i've done it and only just put a new loom in.

Well was driving back today sat at 60mph started to slow down dropped down a gear and rook my turning then ban. Car now sounds like a subaru it's running on 3 piss even 2 cylinders strong, can't accellerate. Very bad smell of fuel from exhaust and a weird clicking/popping from exhaust. I have no way of trying a coil without buying a new one which isn't return.

There is no eml any ideas? As its now pritty un drivable also after 20 mile car still not showing up to temp and heaters cold but engine bay pipes all hat and pressured until cap taken off?

check your plugs and leads, you may have oil getting down to the plugs from the cam cover shorting the plugs?

check plugs, see if any are damaged.

check leads, spray a very light mist of water over them whilst the car is running and see if they arc out.

if all good then i'd say coil pack.
