ive always said this, and told people "it either works or it doesn't" but not long ago the picture on my xbox tinted green, wiggled the cable and it worked again. then lost sound and had little grey dots all over. changed the cable and its fine, tried the same cable with my laptop and have the same problems with that so it definitely was a dodgy cable.

Yeah - it either works or it doesn't. At least if it goes green you know its not working.

If its got dicky connectors on then yeah, bad cable.

The people for whom it works but they claim better cables offer better quality are wrong.
