I have a wire going from the router to the master socket behind a radiator
The broadband keeps going slow and also cuts out.
Is it the heat that effecting it? Its been like that since we moved in 3 mths ago...

I have a couple of temporary cables cable tied to a heating pipe in one place I do some work, it's not affecting it

Whos your ISP?
Its likely to be down to content ratio / traffic shaping at peak times of the day (or more likely evening).
