Yet more problems!!!

I was copying files from a DVD full of pics the other night, didn't realise the charger was turned off. Left it a while. Came back and it had gone into sleep mode for low battery.

Resumed it and it said files not completed copying, retry or cancel? So I hit retry. It finished. Then two seconds after blue screened.

Now booting results in startup repair which does nothing after 3 days.

I've ran my startup repair disc, does nothing. I've got it to a command prompt, hit chkdsk d: /f and it's running at 1 sector every few mins. Got as far as 30 and now nearly everyone is coining back with unreadable.

Any repair methods, or do I need a new hdd?

What's the score with reinstalling windows etc? I can just read the key for it.

Operation Yewtree are on to you mate - I'd destroy the DVD and hard drive sharpish before the dawn raid.

Not a clue was far too quick.

Something must have fucked it during turning off with a transfer from memory card in progress.

Fucking things been nothing but trouble since the mobo error
