i just fitted second had spax shocks on the rear , took it out for a drive and a rattle started,what could be the problem ?

Have you tightened the top shock properly, can be a pain if you don't have an air gun.
Also did you check the 2nd hand shock before fitting?
I presume you never had the rattle before replacing the shock?

it would i appear i had , if that makes sence bud , this is first time iv done anything like this lol ,
