Considering it as I can transfer relatively easily to another branch and we both fancy a change.

Yeah, obv check out the place first and see if you like it. If necy, only take out a short term rent as you may very quickly find an area you like where you want to base yourself etc.

Don't commit yourself for too long and get her a job before you move as she wont enjoy it starign out the windo all day if she cant find another job quickly!

Surely Oahu is a bit nicer (assuming we're talking about the Hawaiian island rather some inbred place) than Norfolk no? Do anything interesting whilst you were out there?

Even then Sam, you chose one of the roughest parts

Birmingham > Uttoxeter
Uttoxeter > Cornwall
Cornwall > Abbots Bromley (Nr Uttoxeter).

Got to say Cornwall (Hayle) was a lovely place but needed to be closer to home.


But IMO you don't know until you try Robin.
