updated my dads iphone which i jailbroke and unlocked with ultrasn0w about a year ago . during the update ultrasn0w has been updated to 1.2.8 and now is coming up with locked sim.
not 100% but i think i used ultrasn0w 1.2 , but now i cant find it anywhere under the repos through cydia or looking through google.
longshot but does anyone have the file lying about .
for refrence its a iphone 3g 4.2.1 on 06.15 baseband

Can you not update the phone to 6.1 and then jailbreak it with Evasi0n?

dont think iphone 3g can be updated past 4.2.1
would of thought the previous files would be kept on the repos but nothing only ultrasnow 1.2.8

Have you updated to a baseband that can't be unlocked that way?

as far as im aware the basband had to be changed to 06.15.00 to unlock to any network and cannot be reversed . phone has been working fine until i updated files through cydia so it must be ultrasn0w causing the problem

I'm having trouble with my mums iPhone 3G its on 4.2.1 and wont go any higher and some Apps need 4.3 to work, does anybody know if anything can be done to make them work
