Is it possible to connect my phone to the tv? So I can watch videos on the tv from phone?
Do I need to buy a lead? Does it come with a lead already? (Not looked for box to see)

Need a lead. Unless you've got a 'smart TV' in which case you can send via dlna

Can do it wirelessly if the tv in question has a wdtv or similar hooked up to it. Bit dearer than a cable but much more useful.

As said you can do it wirelessly via dlna or use a mhl adaptor/cable. I have this for work/hotels etc http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251173638215?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 it charges the phone while you watch too. Or if your tv has usb input, download easyums and use it as a usb stick.

S3 can send to the tv with the built in apps.
