I can't believe that no person at Apple, at any point, decided to question the Lightning connector and it's technology.

It's only on 'mirroring', otherwise it'll do 1080p. Can see the pros and cons to why they did it, although if they stuck a few more pins on the connector then they could have provider raw output.

Always wondered how they managed an HDMI out from soo little pins... I can't believe that. The micro USB to HDMI adapter from my Samsung is raw
