Right so the other day I took my dash out but I have to remove my steering wheel I did try pulling and yanking it off but doing so ive managed to pull the splined shaft with it I did get the wheel of but now the shaft wont go back in as it looks like the column has clasped or the bar that the spine part slides onto has droped / bent

Do I need a new column or not ????
