ever since i had the c20xe conversion into my car 1.6 sport the speedo hasnt worked neither the mileage hasnt gone up just want to know what i need to get to get it working again someone told me i need a 1.2 gearbox sensor but a specific type but ive never been able to find one so if anyone could help please do

You got electric clocks with a cable gearbox yeah? You need the transducer out of a 1.4 8v. You want the white bit that goes into the gearbox,the black bit that connects onto that white bit,and a few inches of the wires off the top of that. Fit the transducer into the gearbox, then there should be a black/orange plug on your start/charge loom,cut the plug off and connect the 3 wires to the 3 wires on the transducer, done.

Yep you'll need the speedo drive from a 1.4 8v with electric clocks. You'll need to have a hunt round some scrap yards try challow.
