Quick question tomorrow I shall be hiding all the wires and organising the unit properly, so centre speaker above or below the tv? The TV is at eye level when sat down.

Centre speaker should be at ear level - so either go top shooting down towards ears or bottom shooting up.

 was only going to be a matter of time, the picture makes it look really high when in fact it's not, id say its just above eye level when on the sofa

I stupidly let the gf tell me where to put the TV this time because I didn't have anyone else to hold it.
My eye level is just about in the middle of it and it pisses me off everytime I look at it, should be lower.

This could be lower but it's fine for me, most people come in and say why have you got your tv lower then theres. Just tell them to sit down and they soon realise

I did measure it but then went against my better judgement because the couch is situated in a different place and even with measuring, sitting down on the couch and looking at it was a different matter.

I could but I'd have to patch in above it now, will probably do it when I get around to painting the wall. It's not massively high, just higher than it should be. Makes we wonder even more about these people with it up at the ceiling.
