any guides out there for this as i havent a clue where too start?

When you mean where to start? Are you trying to find and replace it?
Can be a bit of a fucker to do, it's located on the throttle body on the right hand side (as you look at it) between the inlet and battery.
I'd recommend removing the battery, header tank and top half of the inlet manifold. Only held in with a few screws.
Fitting is reverse procedure of removal

Basically car starts idles between 900-1100 eml comes on and it's fine, can turn car off start up again and it's exact same

id plug it in to a laptop first to double check thats what it is
