Since fitting the c20let car hasn't turned off with the key every time. It does sometimes, but seems to go through phases.
Lights dim when key is removed etc, and sometimes it turns off fine with the key. Any ideas? My ignition live on the loom is going to reverse light switch, like did with xe and had no issues then

Unless its drawing current from else where,
All the charging loom fitted correctly? Could keep running off just the alt.
Otherwise could be the black box on the end of the ignition barrel with the tracks in it.

Is there something in particular on starting loom that could do this?
Thanks

I'm no expert, but there's an ignition live that goes to the alternator for the exciter to tell the alternator to start charging,
I'm wondering if this could be not switching off when you switch it off and it's running off the alternator, one way to tell would be try and get it to do it and disconnect the battery, see if it cuts out.
There's two wires if I remember that go too the alternator, it's the tiny thin one, you could see if there's 12v going there when it decides to not switch off,
Other than that all I can think of is the ignition barrel.

I'd say that's the problem then,
Something to do with the exciter circuit, or the bit on the ignition barrel that's a pig

But I'd lean towards the charging circuit etc.
