Looking at getting the in-laws something for Christmas whereby they can watch films on their TV off a USB pen. They've got a Sony Bravia TV but it doesn't have USB support so will have to be a box of some sort that connects via HDMI, what's the best option? Don't need anything fancy that streams or has a million channels, they've already got Sky.
They've also asked about getting some iPod speakers in the range of £40-50, there's so much choice I don't even know where to start, any recommendations?

One of these or the slightly cheaper 2 version.

Had one for awhile with no issues. Played most files off a USB stick.

Cool, so the top one has it's own internal storage meaning you just put the films on the box itself and not a separate USB pen? The USB port seems to be a mini-usb, not sure that's much good as we'll literally be handing them a usb pen with the media on, which they'll them have to transfer to their laptop and then over to the box.
The bottom one looks good though as it seems to have a full USB port. Nice one.
