OK so what broadband deals have we got at the moment? I'd like to go for something as quick as possible, hopefully fibre if the costs aren't too high. I hear Virgin offer a broadband only deal where you have no line rental? This would be ideal as I'm not too fussed about having a landline. Can anyone recommend some good deals at the moment? Cheers lads.

Sky and bt practically give broadband away with their line rental. Virgin is brilliant and the super hubs are great if it's in your area.

How much is sky fibre unlimited?
I just got upgraded to it for 'free', although i'm still paying the same amount as I did for their utterly crap broadband connect, which is £17 a month.

my virgin fibre is currently at 120meg and going up to 150meg soon.
I give £38/month with no line rental or tv package.
fast as fuck and unmetered to an extent.
If I load up utorrent I easy get over 10meg/s download speed tv episodes will d/l in under 20 seconds hd films in 3-4 mins
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

Jesus Ste that's some serious speed!
I don't think I'll be needing that much to be fair but will look into a slower package if it's cheaper. Only need it for browsing and porn really.

Needed to upgrade my home network to handle it as the computers etc were on a 100base lan
It's not really necessary but we stream/ download everything and don't really watch normal tv

BT Inifinity £15 pm for 18 months, £40 equipment but then you get free BT Sport (or £3 with HD), can't do better IMO. We also got a £50 Sainsburys voucher. We paid the line rentla ina dvance for 12 months which cost like £11 pm instead of £14

I've just got a voucher through from Sky for half price broadband for 12 months. Might be worth a quick call.

Is that fibre unlimited andrew? I've just been upgraded to that free of charge, although still paying the same price (£17 a month).

It just says 50% Sky Broadband Unlimited for 12 Months.
If we get the keys to our new house before Christmas we will be using this offer. No fibre at our new place
