Looking at sticking this in our new bathroom. Wasn't going to bother with anything other than a big heated towel rail but thinking about it now this could make things a bit more comfortable on cold days.
Anyone fitted one? If we go for it will be below engineered timber laminate.

My dad just done it for his mate. He said it wasn't top difficult to fit, just takes a bit of time.
Thought about it for my own bathroom. Would be nice for those cold winter mornings.

I installed it into our Kitchen.
When we have it on its quite nice. Does it warm the room up. Yes but very slowly.
It was fairly cheap to buy and didn't take too long to fit.

What flooring do you have over it Rob?
I'm assuming wood will heat up fairly quickly compared to stone/tile

I have a suspended timber floor -> very good quality underlay -> heated matt -> Laminate stone effect (6/7mm thick).
It does indeed heat the wood up and when its warm its nice to walk on just not sure it really heats the room up so much (that said if you have warm feet your body will feel warmer)
(i.e. there is no insulation between floorbo

Ah ok. That's good. I'm not really seeing it as a way to heat the room, just take the chill off cold feet.
I'm keen. Only adds about £120 to the cost of converting the room even if we decide it's too expensive to run and never use it

That was exactly my take on it. Its not a huge cost and when we do use it, its really nice
