option number one for me

just go for clearance room? or the lower the better??

any info on nova shafts would be great as i guess youd use standard nova wheel bearings???? (this is bit im least sure of and would like a u2u if some1 has time as to not hijack thread too much)

and on topic of this.... has anyone kept the oil cooler???

think your gettin it the worng way m8ty, as far as i know u can run Mk2 1.6 cav shafts with GTE CV (maybe the same) but there not very safe and not very strong, and not really good advice to use them as a full time thing, maybe as a temp thing as if u have snapped a shaft and u need your car, untill your new one comes.

i think thats what u can use, U2U a bloke called Fearless off here, hes the GOD of vauxhall engines. hes my help line number and has done LOADS of 2lt's and had one of the first 2lt 16v Novas many moons ago
and for my info if u do u2u fearless plez add on the bottom
beardy has told me to ask u hows the mid engine nova, nearly finished

oil cooler dosent make any differace what so ever, u just need to find a spot of the front of the car to mount it.

wheel barings depands again what what u go
PVD/CossVaux/Tappered shafts, u use astra Hubs to fit corsa wheel barings
Cournty shafts use corsa hubs corsa wheel barings (but no need to change them)
ALWAYS USE VAUXHALL BAREINGS AS THE CHEAP ONES WILL NOT LAST 5 MINS

lowering the tie bars is to miss the powersteering pump, and will give u better traction, and stiffent the front end up.

what was you meaning??

Because the Corsa has a wider track so the shafts are too short

I think Id also get the V tuning plate if I was doing mine, that one does look a bit dodgy.

i admit the quailty of my plate isent bob on, the reason being it was the first top gear had ever made, the Tig welder was broken so they could polish/remove the weld lines, and best of all it dident cost me a bean yes thats no pence and no pounds, i post the pic so people could see what it kind of looks like and to see the diff between the powercap and that.
they have made alot more and the quality is alot better and as good as the V-tuning ones, and still cheaper.
the reason i am not bothered about the look of it or the quaily is that i wanted to see how much all in all a 2lt conv would cost and i did mine foir 130notes

use the pump which came with the engine, plum it all in like normal using the corsa pipes etc BUT when u sit the engine in the bay and blot it in the Pully on the PAS pump will be sat on the tie bar can can not spin.
so u need to spacer the tie bar down so give clearance for the pump. spacer both side down making it even.
so u need 6 new bolts and eather some spacer blocks or some washers
OR
regal do a tie bar spacer kit for about 60notes
OR
PVD/cossvaux do the pump mount for about 100
