After some clarification on this...

X14XE engine that the waterpump failed on, took the head off and all 16 valves are bent so a new head is the most cost effective option...

I have two available locally, a C16XE and an X16XE, both rebuilt and both the same price.

I believe either will fit, not interested in performance gains, just the cheapest fix to get the car back on the road before the end of the year.

What head gasket should I use? Assuming I will need one for the 1600? Do I need to use the cams from the 1600 or can I use my existing 1400 cams?
