On the 24th June i got a Vodafone contract, which the next day i decided to take back, cancel the contract and get a phone on pay as you go instead.
When i took it back there was no receipt to say the contract was cancelled, which i didn't think any more of.
Anyway today in the post i've just got a bill from vodafone for £175 including £60 of calls and £45 of text messages.
I rang vodafone and they said the contract wasn't actually cancelled, so they need to get me to go to the link and the link needs to ring them, but they need proof that the contract was ended.
Has this happened to anyone before? Am i gonna have a battle on my hands?

if they get lairy take em to court. tell em when u went in the store n to get cctv 2 prove it so they can see u handing the stuff back

you'd need 3 days notice to cancel.
Also i rang up Single point to confirm it was cancelled you were very foolish to not have written proof or at least check with the operator

Get an itemized bill, see who the calls are too etc...

Just been down the link.......
I found in my phone box that i did have confirmation that i cancelled the contract.
The phone number came into use 2 days after i took it back, already this month (11 days) they've spent more than 2 hours on the phone. Phone number has been barred and fraud company are investigating.
I don't think they need to investigate how it happened, i think its the girl who served me who was of a "different" origin.

my contract finshes 2month ago! i had to cancle it twice coz 1st time the dumb bitch dint cancel it!
