The socket for my locking wheel nuts has been chewed, the guy at HI-Q have tightened the bolt up seriously tight and the socket got chewed trying to undo them. I dont know the manufacturer of the locking wheel nuts so how do i get them off i carnt get a new socket,
If i filed the chewed socket down a socket size would that work, its not the end that goes on the bolt thats been chewed its the other end you put in a socket

the socket that takes the lock nut off is mashed,or the end of the t bar/ratchet u wer usin is mashed?
if the latter just buy some top quality tools,draper or sumthin

it would work if you filed it, but it would take you a while to do it!
It must be seriously chewed if it won't grip in a socket anymore!
Something like a pneumatic gizmo but with a drill chuck on it might be able to clamp down on it enough.....
Take it back to the place that tightened it too much.

get the drill out and drill the locking nut out, then buy a new set and dont do them up so fucking tight.

Weld a big nut to the end & try again.
