My estimate is 106bhp - pretty much the same figure it left the factory with. You should also try to find a more accurate rolling road operator...

Mines was rollin roaded at 118bhp
This was with a full magnex decat zorst and induction kit
Car was fully serviced day before and running well.
Also had a engine flush through it too.
Sceptics out there going to slate the figure...RR been used alot by ppl off here up in scotland and usually reliable figures..
Was RR same place ages ago and 113bhp, when car was needing service. I know service etc doesn't add bhp. plugs, leads, oil, flush etc but it gets the car runnign sweeter and smoother........
And I do not think 12bhp over factory is to optimistic.....

it wont be 115bhp standard. Maybe a few more if engine is in exellent condition and running on higher octane fuel. But no way 115. Thats an inaccurate RR. Get it done again somewhere else. With the mods you have, that is probably 115BHP now.

yea a sport has 106bhp standard, but if it in A class condition n looked after well it could Easily have more.
i was just wondering roughly what BHP my Gsi would be too??
its in fairly good condition, with viper induction kit and a full group A exaust.
what bhp u reckon it is?
and my 0-60?
just want a rough idea, coz ive never had it tested!

i had my 93 b (without ecotec) gsi on rollingroad 1 month ago it was tested with green twister and without it. and ive got sebring backbox too. first run was with original airbox and sebring backbox, result was 75.5kw@4920 and torque was 146nm@4840. second run was with twister 78.3kw@5160 torq was 150nm@4720. but the biggest improvment was on area 1500-2500 and it was over 10 newtonmeters.
the thing is that i went on rollingroad because i wanted to see what improvment mantzel powerbox would really make.
but now my whole engine is being rebuilt, and there was big problems, pistonrings were fried, hydraylic lifters were not opening valves enough etc... and the timing had slipped so the power came out so early...
but the main thing is that there will be more power!!
altough i might not see the real benefits from powerbox...

well guys the people that rolling road tested my car were JOHN NOBLE MOTORSPORT in Chesterfield (near Sheffield) and if any of you keep up with super sports cars etc you will have heard of the NOBLE (an extremely fast, reliable, great handling motor) and if you look at the name of this garage it is easy to where it got its name from as this is the garage that did most of the developing of the engine etc....also co-owned by one of my mates dad
.....and not being funny but the equipment in this garage is very high tech and state of the art and i would expect it to be more accurate than most other garages .....this is why i brought it here coz i wanted a reliable result
......i'll have a hunt for the print out and get it posted up in here...bear with me folks

just as a rough guide as to how fast my car actually is my top speed has been 128mph and if i had about another 4000 miles of straight i may have got 130mph but my car felt as though it was about to take off so i let off.......also i have had a standing start race with a 106 GTi and fiesta RS TURBO and the RS TURBO was about half a cars length in front of me (this is when i had my decat fitted etc) (over a distance of about half a mile) and the 106 was a car length behind me .....so make your own assumptions as again for you guys that know me you will have seen this on some crazy video footage

I've heard they're crap - at least that's the view of one of the UK's most respected motorsport publications.
