Heard so much bad stuff about tesco insurance i was praying nothing would ever happen to my car, on the weekend tho some smack head decided to bend the top of my door and nick my cd player, amp and sub, none of which was insured! Rang up tesco expecting to be anally raped but to my total suprise they were fecking awesome! They said they would replace my headunit, they booked my car in to a vauxhall dealer to get it done, gave me a free courtesy car, only charged an excess of £100, have given me a £100 cos my mrs' phone got nicked and my policy price will just stay the same as last year! MAJOR RESULT if you ask me!!

Thats the thing, my insurance was due to be renewed a few days after it happened, that really pissed me off but when i phoned them they gave me a renewal qoute which is exactly the same as this year, so technically its gone up £50 from what i would have had to pay this year but its not crippling, it just hasnt gone down, im very pleased with what ive seen so far anyway, you may be right and they fcuk me up later but so far so good!

You should have waited. Your allowed to claim up to two years after the incident i think Sso you could have renewed your policy then claimed a few days after.

Not really possible cos my door was hanging off and leaking in water, like i said my policy hasnt gone up, they've kept it the same where as it would have gone down, so im not really losing much

tesco were over 600 quid more expensive then the quote i got from liverpool victoria so for the 600 i could get a pretty decent sound system if mine was nicked anyways
I think most people complain about tesco's cause they are over priced compared to others at the end of the day if u had a choice of not insuring ur car like u do in some countries than 90% of people would choose not to insure as long as i can drive legally i wouldnt have insurance waste of time.

tesco customer service is wank! my boss has had a minor bump has took about 20 phone calls to various companys to a arrange repairs and courtesy car. And they are charging him for mthe insuravce on the c - car!

as most of u know i wrote my gsi off three weeks ago! i woz insured wiv tesco! they sent me out a courtesy car for 2 weeks! i changed it 3 times cuz i didnt lyk it and they wernt bothered! ! theve sent me out a cheque for £2500 wen i only paid £800 4 da car! i had alloys, induction kit, super chip, full magnex system etc that werent declared! ! and they av quoted me £2300 on an sri on my own insurance fully comp and im only 17!  ! i luv em! tesco rules! oh, and they av paid my premimums till march, i even get £37 back!

I was forced off the road last september and ended up rolling my old corsa
Tesco said they would pay me £3500 for the car which was N plate 1.4 16v Sport and i only paided £3995 6 months earlier so i thought it was ok but then realised that i had £600 excess to come out of it
But 2 days later a cheque fot £3500 drop on my door mat which i subsequently banked about 10mins later
Cuz i had legal cover aswel they have got their solicitors doing all the paperwork and they still are 14 months later and i aint even with them anymore, waiting on a pay out from some bureau(sp) now
