you want some decent components before you think about 6*9's mate.save some money and put it towards a good set of 17cm ones for the front then amp them, put your door speakers in the back shelf for some rear fill sound.

i have them on my back shelf and the 5003 components in the doors and they are both really good, build quality is outstanding, but what do you expect from a company that makes jbl ?

Well, JBL's car audio is actually pretty poor! And The Haman group only distribute them both, not manufacter them both.
And the Infinity's are top And only £50 at the moment in Halfords.

would the INF-RA7502 amplifier be ok to run the infinity 6x9s then?
INFINITY RA7502 75 watt RMS, 2ch amp. 220 watt RMS bridged power output. Continuously variable active crossover. Bass boost. Stable with 2ohm speaker leads

...for a corsa B, you'll need some 5"(13cm) comps if you want them to be hidden under your grill and make sure the depth of the mid range is around 2 inches, otherwise your gonna have probs when you wind down your window.
Personally i would stay away from 6x9s, unless your gonna put them in a box and to be honest, there a poor mans sub just save up get some comps and a sub a few amps for both and viola, you have a decent setup

yea but you will find that the depth is below 2 1/4" 58mm (thats the woofer surface to the back of the magnet). You can have 17cm comps, but you need to make sure the depth is correct otherwise your windows wont be going all the way down.
I found out the hard way, when i got some phoenix gold r6.5's. They were massive and the magnets wouldnt even go through the door holes without some modifications. The speakers were also too deep, and the magnet would have been in the middle of the window track
So before you buy, check the sizes first !!

you can amp what ever you like mate
though you said your coxials are 55wRMS and your HU will give out about 27wRMR(ish) when being feed the correct power (which is usually 14.4v..thats what alot of the manuals say), so your loosing about 20-30wRMS. And it will cost you about 80quid for a decent amp to power these, so if you've got the cash to get them amped then do it but i would either save up for a sub/amp (even though you dont want one, it will be better than any 6x9's) or spend the money on sumthing else
If the only reason you have 6x9's is to add some sound in the back for your crew then i would take them out, wack your coxials in the back and get some comps for the front Then get a 4 channel amp and amp the whole lot..problem solved. Then save up and buy a sub

75 watt RMS, 2ch amp. 220 watt RMS bridged power output- so if i got that, would it 37.5W per channel then or 110W? If it is 110W does that mean each speaker gets 55W or they both get 110W
