Hi, ive a really annoying streaky film on my windscreen, when raining its annoying 2 look through, and when its wet at night its almost impossible 2 c.

yeah think ill try that, its so anoying, tried a mixing water with a wee bit vinegar to disolve grease, was wee bit better,but not much.
Any more ideas?

i just use me mums spray window cleaner mate, works fine, just polish it off proper and get a new window demister pad!

its on the outside, wen washing ure car do u wash the windscreen with the same sponge??

i had this on my saxo, got stuck behind a smoky old 4x4 one night, next day in the sun the screen was smeared and impossible to clean and see through. turned out it was oil!!! loads of fairy liquid and water should help and a cheap spounge, then a good scraper should remove whats left

if u use fairy liquid, try not to get it on the paint work, heard its not good for it at all!

yeah ur not ment ot use fairy liqid to clean cars, well my dads always told me not too and so have many other peopl,e its got salts in it or sumink

No the reason u dont use fairy liquid is because it has an agent in it that removes greese (like off your dirty plates and pans etc) but it removes the wax from your bodywork, leaving it un-protected
