Bored of my normal Corsa speedo / rev counter display colour.
Wanna change it to blue or red.
I know it takes 1 big side light bulb and two smaller bulbs to illuminate the clocks.
My question (s) is -
can I go to a shop and get anything to make the display these colours?
Anyone suggest a high street shop?
Bulb paint any good?
I know a chap called Cobra does 'em.

Neil, if you have dials with rev counter, they are all lit by three bulbs the same size. I can do you a direct replacement in any colour you want that will look fine behind the standard dials. You can of course use paint but it will fade in time, plus my leds will be cheaper than the paint.
The only case where leds are not effective is if you have white Lockwood dials and want to light it blue. The white dials use orange numbers and letters and blue light will not pass through orange. Any other colour dial or led is fine though.

Dave, the only patchy bit is the brightspots in the mfd. I use diffused leds for that, problem solved.

How about Ultra Violet, it gives off a purple ish glow, plus it makes white objects glow in the dark. Heres an idea how it looks..

Mine look exactly the same as Trottys. The pics make it look a lot worse than it actually is. Do it.

Am I right in thinking that the LED's are soldered into the bulb spaces?

No, theres no soldering involved. The pic below is of my plug and play leds, as you can see, they are exactly like the original bulbs. To fit, simply twist and remove the original holder, and twist to lock the led replacement in place. Even my Mrs can fit them, now that is saying something
