everynow and again my screen goes blank for a second then its back to normal but its getting pretty frequent now
i am assuming it is a software problem so has anyone else came across this? on xp pro by the way

well i have only had this one for under 2 months but could be however it is also causing my computer to freeze sometimes also so thats why i suspect software

Well i spose the *easiest* thing to try is a diff monitor, however i suspect it's probably down to your graphics drivers.

ok i will have a fondle at it tomorrow, its a bit late now for arsing about considering i am going to get to sleep from now til 6am!!! btw got the dvd shrink version 1.03 cheers

make sure the power plug is in properly! and also the cable that goes into your comp make sure thats on properly, if so and ur stil having problems theres a chance that its either your monitors drivers or your graphics card drivers, try and update both and see if you still get the problems k m8

Or try the monitor on another computer.
I couldn't get my 9700 to play nicely with an old sony monitor, on their own they were fine, but they just couldn't get along.
