lap belt is for adult
minicabs are insured to carry 5 with a lap belt in centre rear

Every person must have access to a seat belt. so therefore however many belts there are i guess.

surely you could legally be insured to carry 4 exclusive of the driver
why is there a centre belt - so you can illegally carry a 4th passenger safely??

yep i realised that my car had 5 belts, never really go in the back so couldnt remember.

yeah i was the same misdotcom, i think the middle on on mines a lap belt but on some roller coaters u only get a lap belt and on some coaches all they have are lap belts if its good enuff for a rollercoaster its good enuff for me.
i know its a daft one to say but if uve fitted 3 people in your corsa its pretty fare to say (unless they are sticks) the person in the middle aint gonna go no where even if u do crash

I was told by my insurance company that with my car if i carried more than 4 prople then i would not be insured don't know y tho

i can only carry a total of 4 people in my car including myself according according to insurance im insured with c.i.s but i dont know about other companys
