No. Torque tube costs £285 for the kit. Your not going to get better bhp per £ with any other na engine.
Again. inlet manifold sticky thread needed.

Can anyone tell me what they think the mantzel inlet manifold lower manifold and a superchip would add to a GSI, have not had it on a rolling road all I have is a powerflow dual exit exhaust so its pretty much standard ?

if it's not too hard to fit i can get a mate to do it who's know more about engines than me.
if it needs to be professionally fitted then i'll get it done at velos

Its fairly easy to fit, you have to start somewhere, have a stab yourself or do it with a mate.

never fitted one of the manzel type manifolds, but have fitted 2 lexmaul type ones, they take about 1hours to fit, but a tad fiddley! the manzel type one will take longer than that tho as it involves moving the throttle body, will come with instructions cant go wrong with it id have thought!

Fitting my mantzel powerbox was one the first major things I did on my own. Just make sure you dont need the car for a while incase you get stuck on something.
If you get stuck you can get help on here.

yeah they are dam ugly, but thats not what it is about unless ya into show and shine which i wanna get into this summer.
I got a Mantzel power box and fitted it myself took about 12 hours, like miles first thing i ever did to my engine, with the sport X16XE fitting the box is easier and takes half the time cos the GSI with the C16XE engine has to have its lower manifold changed to that of the sport

Sooooooo for £285 (without fitting) I could get 22 bhp on my 90 bhp engine? So 112 bhp is possible with the torque tube thing?
I'm getting one asap.
Could a normal garage fit them for cheaper than £160?
And will it drink petrol?

u get a 25% increase on bhp from the 1.4 16v:
90 divided by 100 = 0.9
0.9 x 125 = 112.5bhp
