i know it was stupid, but i got given a richbrook chrome ball gearknob for christmas, and decided to try and fit it about 3 days ago.
the only way i could see to get the original vauxhall knob off was to cut it off, so now its in about 50 pieces...
even worse, is that the richbrook one wont fit....
suggestions would be useful...
HELP!!!

lol mate i did this a couple of days back, i tried n tried to get it off i ripped it off eventually the only thing to do it to is go to a scrappy cos vaux wanted to charge me 58 quid

Wouldn't worry bout destroying the original gear knob much, i changed mine last week there for a nice new chrome richbrook 1. I bought the richbrook "emblem" one, it fits perfectly. Wot type have u got?
