Hi Peeps

My corsa going in soon and iam having a smooth boot so i would like to know when i hav a smooth boot wud it be possible to still open the boot ?? i heard that u can open it from the inside without a solenoid?? is this true or would it be better to have the solenoid fitted the same time as the boot is being smoothed??

a few people are getting it done it done recently, mine is soon.

yes you can still open it from the inside, just need a wire to tug on to open the latch or sommat. you can get the solenoid put in at anytime tbh, but you might aswell get it all done at the same time to save yourself from going back to the garage or climbing into the back of your car to open boot.

i used the wires from the rear wiper to safe having to feed through new wires, but i then found then running down the left hand side of the car and cut them there and hooked them to a switch. I think its safer this way as you cant accidently open the boot while ur driving
