Cos i might go for some nitrous, and yes, cook the engine, not safe etc.etc. have looked into all that. All i want to know is the answer to my question. If you have something to say other than that, please kindly keep it to yourself.

Cheers, Corb.

And wanna get TB's and direct port nitrous. hope to have nitrous running from ones of those progressive controller thingies, costly but safer and easier to use.

Untill u've had NoS and used it regularly dont knock it.....untill i got mine i wasnt keen on the idea but its great!! Your standard box should cope no problem at all....and a progressive controller is definatly a good idea!! If your goin to get direct port i would suggest a wizard of nos kit - they also offer an insurance policy, the higher bhp kit u have the more u pay but its not expensive....ive got a 50 bhp kit and its costs me 43 a year to insure my engine against ANY problems caused by the nos!! If u want insurance u have to have it fitted by a registered fitter....for more info check out they're website....if theres anything else u wana know u2u me

if your going for aceeleration corb go for a F16 box on it's own/as well

as it has a lower ratio than the F20 and aboviously picks up quicker

The F16 will take less torque. But for the sake of n2o, I wouldn't worry about it, as you said, use a controler so it doesn't give a sudden jerk of torque through it.

What sort of n2o hit are you thinking of?

Yeah, but james, was talking with J100 and he blew his F16 with 185bhp. For a quick fix, will get an F16 for a few months, but after that, with TB's and NoS, will have to look at an F28.

And yes, it's a Wizards of Nos kit, a company called CPL Racing on the Isle of Sheppey quoted £1000 to supply, fit, set up and before and after RR graphs of performance. Would fancy bottle opener and progressive controller aswell, so would prob be looking at around £1600.

F28 is much heavier and I imagin you would lose more power through it than a decent F20.
