so they go on and off with boot open/closed
?? how woud u do it if the lights 12v

i wired mine up to my amp so it came on when i turned my ignition on

Yes, thats what I did. It comes on when I open the boot instead of the boot light.

If you got some of them lights that have a ciggy lighter on them to hook em up cut that off and the strip the wires back. You can then wire them directly to the boot light using a connector block, if theyre the same as the ones I did all the resistors and shit should be in a little box. Then the lights'll come on when you open up your boot...

i am selling propper neons, that wire up and have switches on the cable, and 2 12" tubes , or single, 11 for double and 9 for single, check classifieds , all colours

i wired mine up by pulling out the little bulb holder on the left then connecting the neon lead to that by soldering it to the prongs , so now it only goes on when the boot is open just tuck all the wires away and looks mint.
